The CORD project promoted the Slovak-Hungarian cross-border business of potential entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs.
The CORD project under the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme aimed at establishing closer cooperation among different business support organizations providing support to potential entrepreneurs, start-ups and SMEs (including women entrepreneurs), improve their cooperation efficiency focusing strictly on the facilitation of cross-border activities by the improvement of supporting cross-border activities in the border area.
CORD implemented 17 events (networking, training and project events), in line with the project objective, to provide an opportunity for Hungarian and Slovak cross-border businessmen to meet with potential distributors, business partners, governmental and professional organisations and key players in the regional ecosystem, and to develop their entrepreneurial skills.
An Ambassadors Programme was established to extend the outreach of the messages to a wider audience. CORD Ambassadors are representatives of the most successful Hungarian and Slovak companies who pass on good practices and experiences to entrepreneurs, especially women entrepreneurs, in the border regions of the two countries.
Different bilingual publications, including articles, flyers, videos, business guides and e-learning platforms were created and developed to help entrepreneurs to improve their entrepreneurial knowledge, skills and cross-border business opportunities/partners.
