The overall goal of the project is to create new, state of the art touristic services in the cross border region that can be integrated into the existing portfolio of the PPs, while able to lengthen the visitor’s stay and the diversity of available programmes in the region. According to market research carried out in Cultacross (Slovakia-Hungary Interreg Programme) project the region needs more and diverse touristic attractions.
Within the frame of the project, a multifunctional exhibition space will be constructed at the site of LB, that will give place for an interactive exhibition space at SlovakiaRing.
Mobilis will offer professional heLB during the establishment of the facility, and the elaboration of the services, as well as it will provide LB the initial set of interactive elements to be extended and further developed based on operational experiences.
New interactive simulators, and equipment will be purchased, a prototyping and creative digital workspace will be created by Mobilis including AR elements. As apparently the building is rather open space, minor interior changes will be necessary to create an adequate digital workspace (makerspace).
Joint events will take place with the aim of reaching a broader target group. While Mobilis focuses mainly on students, SlovakiaRing shall build on visitors of the ring and their families. The surrounding attractions target the younger visitors of the race car events by offering them supplementary services with the exhibition.
Through the joint activities PPs will realise know-how transfer, share exhibition items and facilities for rationalisation and through the joint events both tourist attractions will be promoted to attract more visitors coming to the cross-border region.
