Main goal of the project was the increase of digitalisation in the cross-border region.
Lead beneficiary of the project was the FORT-BAU Zrt. having its factory in Salgótarján. The Slovak partners were two SMEs located in Filakovo, the a TOOTH TOOLS s.r.o. and the FILLECK s.r.o.
Beneficiaries established their partnership within the TAPE „BETWEEN R2 AND M3”, which aimed at improving the employment situation in Nógrád and Banská Bystrica Counties.
In order to increase the production effectivity, the FORT-BAU Zrt. has purchased an automatized door and window manufacturing line and created 6 new jobs. The new manufacturing line consists of the following elements: SMC 320 profile machining and cutting centre, SSL 1 welding and 2-axes cleaning machine, Visual Window production control software (+sawing, milling, setting, screwing, welding, fitting, glazing, forwarding units).
Main goal of the TOOTH TOOLS s.r.o. was to shorten the production time, increase precision, eliminate production problems and achieve production growth through purchasing and installation of a new CNC machine. The FILLECK s.r.o. providing telecommunication services in the district of Lucenec built an optical network in Trebeľovce, Muľka, Rapovce, Kalonda, Mučín, Lipovany and Pleš, not having broadband access before.
Project of the FORT-BAU Zrt. was co-financed by the ERFA of the European Union. Total budget amounted to EUR 702,960, out of which EUR 421,776 was granted by the ERFA.
