Fakultná nemocnica s poliklinikou in Nové Zámky (FNsP NZ, SK) has access to robotic device for effective verticalization and mobilization, and a treadmill for gait training, while Batthyány Kázmér Szakkórház és Rendelőintézet, Kisbér (HU) benefits from equipment improving upper limb motoric function and robotic system for overground gait and balance training. The overall objective of the project was to achieve progress in treatment of post-stroke and brain injury patients by introducing an advanced-technology based therapy widely practiced in the Western European countries.

2 workshops with professional audience served information exchange and transfer of knowledge based on the measured data using the robot-assisted rehabilitation equipments. The effectiveness and achieved results of patients robot-assisted rehabilitation in practice of both partners has been presented and introduced  to the wider public on the Symposiums organized by both partners. Despite of all challenges such as COVID pandemic situation and the beginning of the War in Ukraine the project results were achieved. The period of realisation of the project can be considered as the beginning of the fulfilment of the overall goal and vision how to increase the quality of life of the patients affected by various types of brain injury.

All events can be considered as an input for further cooperation in the studied field. The project partners will implement robot assisted rehabilitation in frame of their own research capacities to improve the quality of patient health care.
