European Regional Development Fund
The Territorial Action Plan for Employment (TAPE) is complex development plan. This tool is a unique approach in Europe in the field of regional development.
The Programme introduced this tool in Priority axis 3 Promoting sustainable and quality employment and supporting labour mobility. The aim of this intervention is to decrease employment inequalities among the regions with a view to improving the level of employment within the programming region.
Each TAPE has a target area, which is geographically continuous, and includes territories of both Hungary and Slovakia. Before applying for funding the partners had to clearly identify the territorial needs on the appointed area in terms of employment, had to answer these needs by proposing interrelated group of projects with an overall view to create new jobs and enhancing cross-border labour mobility. Each TAPE contains minimum three maximum eight projects that are in synergic or complementary relation, and are absolutely necessary for the overall success of the TAPE.
You can find the list if approved TAPEs under this link. The first projects of the TAPE titled ‘Cserehát AP’ were contracted in late 2019. Read more about this action plan and the related projects.
