European Regional Development Fund
Main achievements in 2018
The Small Project Fund (SPF) is a new tool within the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme. The overall objective of the Small Project Fund is to strengthen social cohesion across the borders by allowing the application of such institutions whose project proposal counts with a smaller total amount than the usual financial limits in an ordinary call. The decision making body, the Monitoring Committee decided to use this tool in Priority Axis 1 (Nature and culture) and Priority Axis 4 (Institutional cooperation), which are the most popular themes in the Programme.
The programming area was divided into two: Eastern and Western side with two management organizations (European Groupings of Territorial Cooperation) to implement the SPF.
