Hornad Green Day Education programme - 2023/09/26 14:30

The Hornad Green Day Education program is a free educational program for schools about the environment, nature and the river, with the aim of teaching students the importance of protecting nature and the water ecosystem.

Target groups:

• schools, students, pupils, teachers,

• youth workers, water tourism instructors

The program consists of several parts:

1. Education of teachers, youth workers, water tourism instructors p

by experts from the field of natural sciences, history, environmental protection - workshop:

• 6 hours

• 4 lecturers from the fields of natural sciences, history, environmental protection,

2. Observation in nature with teachers, students, watching animals/plants in the ecosystem:

• 1 group – min. 1 hour, in a group of approx. 10 pupils, students, approx. 8 groups

• recording the animal and plant species present, waste, landfills

• 1 lecturer

3. Consultations and identification of animal and plant species with a lecturer - 1 lecturer, 8 hours

4. Kayak and canoe course for children and teachers:

The course will take place under the supervision of certified instructors with all safety standards.
