One of the main activities of the project are Motivation and career days. They aim to extend and disseminate information about broad educational and working alternatives, as well as to provide various work and life examples and opportunities through real career models.
Content
The first of a series of 5 Motivation and career days will be held on Thursday, November 23rd at the Lunik IX community center in Košice. The target group will be the community as it is - children of different age, parents, community center staff, local government as well as non – profit sector.
The first career & motivation day is devoted to the Roma community in the Lunik IX in Kosice (segregated Roma community in Kosice) in which all age groups are represented. The representatives of the local government are invited as well. The event is co-organized by the Slovak NGO: ETP Slovensko (http://etp.sk/?lang=en). The inspirational stories - real career models - will bring successful young IT employees, as well as students who have managed to achieve outstanding academic results and continue their studies and personal development despite difficult living conditions. The duration of the whole event is 2 hours.
