On 25 August 2022 at 10.00 a.m., the Wine_LAB project (SKHU/1901/3.1/002) will be officially closed, during which the newly built service house, which includes a wine laboratory, will be unveiled.

Handover ceremony: Development of services supporting local wine makers in the region
The project was aimed at small and medium-sized winegrowers and wine producers. In the village of Mužla, a service house for winegrowers and viticulturists was built within which a wine laboratory with an analyser was set up. This will be able to identify 43 parameters of must and wine in order to improve the quality of the wines produced.
In the region, 8 weather stations have been installed on both sides of the Danube River, forecasting the weather and suggesting to winemakers the optimal chemical or biological protection of the grapes. An air-conditioned warehouse has been built in Szivek Pincészet, on the Hungarian side, for the reception and temporary storage of cider and wine samples.
