On Thursday, October 25, 2018, a B2B business forum for ICT research and development providers from the Slovak Republic and Hungary will take place at the Hotel Yasmin in Košice. The organizer of the event is the Kosice regional chamber of the Slovak Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Leading innovators in the region, companies such as GlobalLogic and Novitech will present their activities to support research and development in the eastern Slovakia. The aim of the event is to introduce new online portfolio (www.inno-service.eu) of research and development services and infrastructure in the area of south-eastern Slovakia and north-eastern Hungary and during B2B negotiations initiate cross-border innovation cooperation between entrepreneurs and R&D providers. B2B Business Forum is one of the main outputs of the Cross-border Innovation Service Portfolio project supported by the Interreg V-A Slovakia-Hungary Cooperation Programme.
The online portfolio was created based on the mapping of research centres, science parks, universities, incubators and companies that have a specific infrastructure that can be used for R&D on a commercial basis. The portfolio also includes a list of providers offering innovation support services in companies such as an innovative strategy proposal.
There are five partners to implement the project, Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Banská Bystrica, Košice, Nógrad, Heves and Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén led by Banská Bystrica regional chamber and co-financed from European Regional Development Fund.
