The "SKHU IT EDUCATION" project aimed to increase the digital competencies and skills of the primary and secondary school students in Košice Region and Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County. As part of the project, all beneficiaries conducted a total of 15 trainings/workshops on the topics: Training of trainers with an in-depth understanding of how to integrate Lego SPIKE and Wedo2 robotics in the teaching materials and plans; Implementing LEGO robotics education in the education regarding the needs of the IT sector; How to integrate EduSCRUM in teaching lessons to prepare students for the labor market focused on IT; Trainings in upskilling of IT Lego robotics skills; Design Thinking for developing IT project ideas of students necessary for the IT labor market. Courses were held in Košice (Slovak Republic) and Miskolc (Hungary).

Beneficiaries purchased LEGO® SPIKE® Education sets and LEGO WeDo 2 sets for students of primary and secondary schools in Slovakia and Hungary to increase institutional capacities in the Košice Self-governing Region and the Boršod-Abaúj-Zemplén County.
Beneficiaries also implemented 2 LEGO Cross-border Competitions where participants presented gained Lego robotic skills.
During the project, a Robotic Summer Camp for students was organized to intensify the work with LEGO.
Tailored curriculum plans were created to further development of the existing curriculum material with specific robotic exercises.

LEGO We Do Competition: The WEDO 2.0 competition was organized in Hungary for students from 14 schools.
The teachers provided extra robotic classes in Hungarian schools for 8 months.
An interactive classroom in Kulturpark Kosice was created to support the development of LEGO robotics programming skills. The creation of a new interactive space (classroom) for children will help to teach innovative forms of IT education. The classroom will stimulate students' interest in technology which is becoming increasingly widespread in the field of production.
