Opinions of the public on the scope of evaluation according to article 8 par. 8 of Act no. 24/2006 Coll., can be submitted no later than 10 days after its publication in writing.
On 17.9.2021 the Technical University of Košice organized an event called Study tour for young students. The event took place within the project Smart Communities 2.0 - “How to be smart in the countryside?” (SKHU/1902/4.1/027). The aim of the Study tour was to promote the “smartness” of young students and to show them new directions their future studies could take, in a fun way in the setting of the Košice Steelpark.
Environmental impact assessment (EIA) has started in Slovakia
The Ministry of Investment, Regional Development and Informatization of the Slovak Republic (MIRRI SR) has announced the start of EIA process on the draft strategic document “Interreg Cross-border Cooperation Program Slovak Republic-Hungary 2021 - 2027”
On 24th July 2021, thanks to the Build and promote local image project, we welcomed farmers and the public to the Agro Festival in the Hungarian village of Hidasnémeti. Craft and farm stalls were full of great local products.
On July 8, 2021, we ceremoniously opened the “Moldava nad Bodvou” market in Encs.
The European Parliament approved the new legislation package for the programming period 2021-2027 on 24 June 2021.

The Monitoring Committee of the Small Projects Fund Approved another 23 small projects on 19 May in Košice.

We opened the “Encs” marketplace in Moldava nad Bodvou on 24 April 2021, which helps the whole region.
On 15-16 April 2021, the 3rd Smart Communities Academy International Conference “Smart Opportunities for Rural Communities in 2021-2027” took place in a hybrid format, in Legend and online. The two-day event was attended by nearly 80 participants and featured 41 presentations on the topics of smart cities and communities, smart economy and services, smart transport and energy, local society and global processes, and smart governance and inclusive economy.
Kick-off Circular Slovakia - Virtual meeting of platform members
The event was organized in order to welcome the first 50 members of the platform Circular Slovakia. During the event, a joint declaration was signed virtually, by which the members committed to actively cooperate in accelerating the transition to a circular economy in Slovakia. The agenda also included a presentation of cooperating partners and their projects, including the project CircularRegions.
